This website is designed to conform with standards, specifications and accessibility guidelines as laid down by W3C organisation including the:

  • XHTML 1.1 strict specification
  • CSS validation (level 2.1)
  • WCAG  Priority 1 (if not WCAG Priority 2 on some pages)

The websites also features:

  • use of images has been kept to a minimum - when necessary Alt tags have been used
  • tables have their respective title, summary, Ids and header tags for assistive technologies
  • text only layout can be used
  • text can be made bigger
  • the site can be viewed without a style
  • all links sound correct when looked at out of context

To comply with UK law specifically the Code of Practice for Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act a website must comply with Priority 1 guidelines and at least some of Priority 2 guidelines
